We have heard that a lot of things have been tried (flags, signs ...) just to get removed by the city of Milford. We would love to hear about any ideas that have not been tried yet.
To get around the sign restrictions and get the Old Lumberyard Shops on the map we are toying with the idea of lawn art and planters that make a statement. The city is very focused on Architectural Preservation. We thought our angle on that could be the preservation of the Industrial heritage of the Old Lumberyard site.
The carefully selected pieces would be used as planters and have a link to the Lumber industry.
